Historic Seacoast Cottage Restoration

This c. 1890 Seacoast Cottage was originally located at the Philips Exeter Academy in Exeter, NH. Originally constructed as a Carriage House, the building was relocated to North Hampton in c. 1920 to house faculty. Restoration of this unique home involved reuse of existing materials and preservation of all historically significant features, finishes, and materials.

Restoration Work involved envelope improvements including thermal and air infiltration measures and high-efficiency windows. Exterior features included enclosing an existing porch.
